The restraint system integrated into baby bed sheets, whose specific design, on the one hand, promotes the currently recommended sleeping position of the baby, belly up (which reduced between 20 to 67% of deaths from SIDS), and on the other hand it prevents the baby from sliding under the sheets while sleeping (about 25 to 40% of babies who are victims of SIDS are found with their heads covered with bed linen, failing to protect themselves from this risk). In this way, the SafetyBabyBed acts on two of the risk factors for SIDS: sleeping position and risk of suffocation.
From 0 to 6 months it should be used with a safety system, or as much as your baby can tolerate. When your baby can no longer tolerate the position, you can remove the safety system and store it away. (IMPORTANT NOTE: it is recommended that it not be removed before 6 months).
